VISITING PATIENTS AT HOME

Please attend the surgery if you are able to do so - home visits involve the doctor in unproductive travelling time.

The receptionist will ask for your name, address and telephone number and reason for the call.

This is so that the doctor may plan his visiting list, visiting the more urgent cases first.

PLEASE NOTE Home visits will only be made by the doctors on grounds of medical necessity and at the doctors' discretion.

Transport difficulties are not normally regarded as sufficient reason.

Please request visits between 9.00am and 10.30am if possible.

If it is an emergency, PLEASE MAKE THIS CLEAR.
