OUT-OF-HOURS CARE

Outside surgery hours please telephone the surgery number.

Out of hours cover is provided by Herts Uregent Care, a GP co-operative.

You may initially be through to NHS Direct who will take details and give advice if appropriate.

If you need to see or speak to a doctor it will be dealt with by the Doctor on call, who may ask you to visit the fully equipped Primary Healthcare Centre at St Albans City Hospital.

24- hour advice can also be obtained by ringing NHS Direct, a nurse-led triage service.
